We are continuing our plan of doing three walks in each of six ranges over the next 18 months, and this is the third visit to the Arenig Range North of A4212

We have so far climbed Arenig Fach in October (tough!) and Waun Garnedd-y-filiast in November (great day with views across to Snowdon).

Foel Goch is at the North end of the range and the starting point is GR962397, access off the A494 3miles short of Bala. The distance is 6 miles with 1100ft of ascent which fits with the short December daylight and risk of weather.
