The next walk is part of Walks 5 & 6, Castles Trail, Rhosesmor to Loggerheads, circa 9 miles. The walk is mostly across fields, boggy alongside the River Alyn, with a relatively short road section through Mold. Looks an interesting route, visiting Bailey Hill, site of a Norman Castle (the site is being developed as a major tourist attraction for Mold with the help of a National Lottery grant of £963,700. Meet in the centre of Rhosesmor near the play area at 9 am, there we will decide which cars need to shuttle to Loggerheads & back. Please let me know if you are walking by Tuesday 12th November.
