This mid level walk explores the secrets of the surprisingly unspoilt Upper Irwell valleyand includes the ascent of Cheetham Close (329m)
We will meet at Jumbles Resevoir country car park (BL2 4JS) for 10:30am. The carpark is signposted off the A676 between Bolton and Ramsbottom.
The walk is about 7.5 miles in length with about 800 feet of elevation gain. Some of the paths are very muddy so good waterproof boots will be required. Please bring a packed lunch and warm waterproof clothing. Please let me know if you are planning to come on this walk.
